Madder & More

Hand printed pyjamas and accessories made with 100% cotton. Designed by sisters in London, crafted by artisans in Jaipur.

We are three sisters and past Farleigh pupils, Lottie, Lila & Lydia, with a love for pyjamas! Our brand was set up following a visit to India and a continued exploration of the colours, patterns, textures and craft techniques we had seen. The idea came about after spending much of our 2020 lockdown in comfort clothing. We wanted to create pyjama shorts which could also be worn out and about!

Our products are all handmade in Jaipur in India by artisans of woodblock printing. They carve each design into blocks of wood and gradually print each layer to create the intricate designs. We work closely with a family-run team in Jaipur to bring to life our ideas and creations.

Our high quality products are made from 100% cotton and embrace an eco-friendly approach to the "Slow Fashion" movement. This encourages slower production, unifies sustainability with ethics, and ultimately invites consumers to invest in well-made and lasting clothes.

To reduce our environmental impact we use fabric offcuts to create accessories, as well as having regular Zero Waste Sales to ensure no misprinted fabric goes to waste. We also use recyclable products for all our packaging which have been made from recycled resources.
